Plastic Free Dish Soap Bar Multi-Packs
I keep buying it because it works, which my biggest concern. However, it'd be nice if it smelled better. Right now it's mildly lemony, which isn't terrible, but also not my favorite. more scent options would be nice. That being said: I'm still buying it, because it works.
What other scents would you be interested in Joan?
We were using the liquid dish soap and while we liked it, the lack of suds had us using more than we needed to (silly brains). We switched to the bar soap and absolutely love it! It stays sudsy way longer so we end up using the right amount of soap. Having the multi-packs is also really nice because we never have to worry about running out, we just order more once we pull out the last one!
Got this to try, since we like the liquid soap but I've got no use for all the beeswax pods leftover. We re-waxed our wraps, but that used up a single pod and we have over a dozen now!
I tried with a scrub brush and with just a cloth and find it takes a lot of water to rinse and there always seem to be spots at the end, and I'm not sure if I've gotten all the soap off or not. So we may be using less soap, but I'm using a lot more water. And some things need to be rewashed as they looked and felt clean (glass containers "squeak"), but then once dry feel slick and dirty again.
Unsure if I'll get more, but don't know what to do with the pods - being able to return them would be great!
Once you get accustomed to the method of using them, they work well. And, NO MORE PLASTIC DETERGENT BOTTLES!
Its taken some getting used to, Iv always been a put soap and water in the sink type so its been an adjustment. It creates more like a foam than bubbles and will not make bubbles in water. It does leaves soap spots if left to air dry but since receiving iv only used it leaving my liquid untouched, having a bar makes me want to do that one pan that was used at lunch instead of it waiting on the counter for dinner dishes. Makes it easy to clean as you go, I think i will end up with a better dish habits and it destroyed peanut butter which is a win. Its different thats for sure but worth it as far as I'm concerned. Smells good in bar form, smells nice while doing dishes but leaves an old school soap smell on your hands. Gentle on my skin, doesn't dry it out as bad as my liquid soap.
