It's pretty good at cleaning the glass straws. I'm concerned about the longevity but we shall see! It's pretty reasonably priced though.
Always looking for non plastic alternatives for everything. This brush was a hard sell, as my husband was fond of his plastic scrub brush for dishes. Well, after a few uses, the plastic brush has been permanently replaced by the coconut brush, with my husband happily using a few drops of Etee’s wax enclosed dish soap.
I actually bought this product to clean the ports of my hummingbird feeders and it works GREAT!!! Very tough and holds up well.
I bought these because the place that I bought glass straws from only had nylon brushes, and cost more -_- Shame on them. If we use non-plastic straws, and then everyone buys brushes with microplastic bristles, then what the heck is the point!?
Thank you etee for having plastic-free brushes. Works well for my standard diameter straw. I use these with the solid dish soap, and it scrapes off the soap easily.
