I’m a heavy sweater. If I don’t use a deodorant, I have a fairly strong BO. This Prebiotic Deodorant Paste works. I’ve been using it for 3 weeks now and I’ve had no smelly armpits. The paste has a pleasant, subtle aroma and it’s easy to apply. I’d recommend the bamboo scoop because you won’t have to put your fingers into the jar. I apply about half a teaspoon on each armpit after I shower in the evening and it lasts until I shower the following evening. Great stuff.

it works

It works to stop odor. It does what it's supposed to do.

Mixed feelings

It works better than your. other deordorant paste. however, between my body chemistry and/or your formulation, my t-shirts are left with deep yellow pit stains that don’t wash out. Alao, the paste doesn’t dissolve. By the end of the day there is a not pleasant looking mass of paste left in my armpits. Again, it kept me odor free all day long. So, it works as advertised.

no odor, great scent, lasts all day, (but get the bamboo scoop!)

I really like this. Great scent, hasn't left residue on my clothes. No body odor, at all, for a solid day, and it doesn't sweat off too easily. I do think the bamboo scoop is a must-have though!

I've tried a bunch of (aluminum) antiperspirants and tons of natural deodorants, and they all have trade-offs. This prebiotic probably compares most closely to the Crystal salt deodorant; it doesn't prevent sweat whatsoever, but even if you're sweaty, you don't smell at all. I like this better than the salt because it has a pleasant citrusy scent of its own while the salt is unscented. Also the salt sweats off pretty easily, and this paste stays on even as you're visibly sweating, which is impressive.

I've worn this during incidental sweating (like, had to run up the stairs or chase after my kids) and I've worn this for planned exercise, and it's been great, but yeah, it doesn't prevent sweating at all. Once it's full summertime high temperatures, maybe the sweat will be more of an issue, but for now, it's been manageable. By the way, Piper Wai is the best natural deodorant I've tried as far as a combo of slowing sweat and preventing odor, but it starts to stink much much sooner than this prebiotic option, and I haven't tried the other Etee natural deodorants (yet!), so for now I'm sticking with this prebiotic. Will re-evaluate once it's fully summertime hot.

Lovely scent

I was pleasantly surprised by the scent, I wish etee had EVERYTHING in this scent, I'm so in love with it. It's not strong by any means, but light and subtle. I tried the paste last night after a bath before bed (I've been sweating a lot at night lately) and I woke up odor free :) excited to give it another test. I've always been a fan of firmer deodorants, I find if they're too soft they get all over your clothes, but this absorbs nicely and hasn't left a residue on my clothes yet. I don't wear white or lights so I can't comment wether it stains or not. But it leaves the pits feeling fresh and nourished.

*bamboo spoon not included

Our *NEW* Prebiotic Deodorant Paste is aluminum-free and lightly scented with a blend of bergamot pine and citrus. It is made of natural ingredients and prebiotics. Prebiotics combat odour by feeding ‘microbiota’ (the naturally occurring bacteria under your arms)  its active ingredient instead of fatty acids and the result creates less malodorous molecules so you stink less.. By using these natural ingredients instead of the chemicals found in regular deodorants your sweat glands will not clog up, allowing the prebiotics to fully do their job. It is also enriched with shea butter to help keep your pits soft and smooth.

We chose a paste format because our research found that the paste format was more effective than a traditional stick.  Why?  It seems to be because of the higher melting point required to keep the stick solid.  The lower melting point of a paste or lotion allows the ingredients to absorb more easily into your skin and do their thing to keep you fresh all day.

We chose to ditch the PEG and baking soda in this one - common ingredients found in leading deodorants known to cause skin irritation.

*Note. This is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant - so a feeling of ‘wetness’ is normal.
