Precision - ADJUSTABLE - Organic Cotton Face Masks
The new adjustable face masks are better shaped to fit securely over a nose; are designed to more easily insert a filter; use softer elastic loops that don't tug on your ears; and best of all, are designed to be adjustable. Thanks for listening to and acting on customer feedback!
Great shape and adjustable. Love the filter pocket
I like the new updated style. I can adjust it to fit comfortably and securely on my small face. I don’t worry about it slipping off. Same organic cotton, attractive colours. A winner!
Unfortunately, the nose piece doesn't contour well, so it creates a gap at the top of the mask, and the way the filter sits inside makes the mask ride low. The adjustable part for the ears is good, though.
I bought a lot of the previous iteration of the mask and this one is so much better! It’s the only mask I have that doesn’t wind up with the top edge digging into my lower eye when I bend down. It’s fitted very well and whatever is in the top edge that allows bending to shape the mask to my nose works great! I live in NYC and wear masks whenever I leave my apartment—even to dump my trash down the compactor chute in my hall—and only wish I had waited to make the large investment in masks till this one was offered. But we’re all learning as we go! This is a super comfortable mask!!! Thanks!

How Effective are Cloth Masks?
There has been a lot of debate about the wearing of masks - some scientific and some cultural. The opinions vary greatly depending on the country of origin, but recently, western experts are embracing the idea of using masks. And while N95 'surgical' grade masks should be kept for front line healthcare workers, cotton masks such as these are gaining support in helping to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, particularly for people who are carrying the virus, but don't have symptoms..
"Writing last month, Adrien Burch, an expert in microbiology at the University of California, Berkeley, noted that "despite hearing that face masks 'don't work,' you probably haven't seen any strong evidence to support that claim. That's because it doesn't exist. In fact, there is evidence of the exact opposite: that masks help prevent viral infections like the current pandemic....
"Based on the research, face masks are much more likely to help than to hurt," according to Burch. "Even if it's just a homemade cloth mask, if you wear it correctly and avoid touching it, the science suggests that it won't hurt you and will most likely reduce your exposure to the virus."
(CNN, James Griffiths, April 1, 2020)
What's more: "The Center for Disease Control and Prevention is now advising Americans to voluntarily wear a basic cloth or fabric face mask when they go out to help curb the spread of the new coronavirus.” Los Angeles Times, April 3, 2020
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Avoid touching your mask while on your face. After use, put it directly in the washing machine and be sure to wash your hands.
