What Do You Use to Wash Your Face?

92% of women use facial cleansers on a daily basis, and the overwhelming majority come packaged in plastic.

Yikes!

We'd love to change that, but we need your help!

So tell us, what's your daily cleansing routine? And what would it take for you to try something new?

Let us know - comment below - together we can turn this plastic tide around!

  • I use Neutragena Ultra Gental hydrating cleanser. It is sold in a plastic (eek) container with a plastic (yikes) pump. If there was a gentle product, that worked as well, packaged more sustainably, and not expensive I would be all about it.

  • Varies, but usually DHC olive oil cleanser (in plastic—sigh) at night. Once or twice a week an exfoliation also from plastic container. My moisturizing rose oil is in glass…

  • I use a sea sponge with rosehip oil and a carrier oil. Never soap. I have super dry skin because of an autoimmune issue so that’s all I ever need

  • I have very sensitive skin and I am allergic to Shea butter. I’d love to try your other soaps but I can’t because of the Shea butter. I use a very mild foaming soap on my face

  • I cleanse my face with Drunk Elephant Pekee Cleansing Bar in the morning and at night, and mosturize with Marula Oil from The Ordinary. Once a week I do either a clay mask or a peel (The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution). If I were to switch, I would need a cleanser that was a good exfoliator, and I would love to see some kind of chemical peel. Price is also a concern; the products from the Ordinary thankfully don’t come swaddled in plastic, and are really very inexpensive for what they are. The Pekee Bar lasts me about a year, and it’s the only thing that I get that comes wrapped in plastic.
