What Do You Use to Wash Your Face?

92% of women use facial cleansers on a daily basis, and the overwhelming majority come packaged in plastic.

Yikes!

We'd love to change that, but we need your help!

So tell us, what's your daily cleansing routine? And what would it take for you to try something new?

Let us know - comment below - together we can turn this plastic tide around!

  • I use both an oil and foam cleanser, moisturizing toner, essence, serum, eye cream, and a gel lotion during the day + a water mask at night. Unfortunately it all comes in plastic. I wish it didn’t, but my sensitive skin doesn’t tolerate basic soaps or DIY cleansers without getting too dry or breaking out.

  • All my soaps come in boxes, which is recyclable.

  • I use cetaphil on my face in the morning, washing with just my hands. All my products come in plastic, unfortunately. In the evening, I use a gentle Mary Kay cleanser and, if I wore makeup, I use a bit of makeup remover with a cloth.

  • I use muji’s oil cleanser (similar to DHC), followed by a powdered enzyme cleanser (from various asian “value” brands). Neither should require a plastic container, but so far, I haven’t found any non-plastic options that I actually liked.

  • I use witch hazel and cotton pads, both packaged in plastic. I was just thinking about how I wished there were alternatives.
