  • Well, our major hurdle is that we have not been able to use our brand new etee mesh produce bags – they arrived just as Covid 19 started. But our grocery stores have allowed packing in your own bags as long as the reusable bags stay in your cart. Our etee dryer balls, dish soap, waxed food covers, stain remover bar (it works sooooo well), laundry tabs and silicone bags (from elsewhere) have been in full use so I am not feeling too compromised. Thanks etee for quality products that work and last !! Looking forward to trying your chewpaste – I have no doubt that it won’t disappoint. (Next week I am going to take my mesh produce bags and hope they can be used !!) Just buying carefully and thoughtfully to reduce plastic waste.

  • The only problem I’ve had is not being able to use my own reusable grocery bags. I have a bad backlog of plastic bags now!

  • Definitely grocery shopping. Our local grocer has put a temporary ban on bringing in our own grocery bags, and the logistics of their parking lot make it too dangerous to take things out unbagged and load them at the car. Add to that having to order more things online, and it’s a recipe for plastic disaster.

  • Biggest challenge has been that we order so many things online during the pandemic (we haven’t been inside a store since social distancing started) so all of the plastic wrap/packaging from packages is piling up! (And many retailers seem to ship one item at a time even when I order 5+ items together).

  • Buying in bulk is no longer allowed at my local market, they prepackage everything in plastic, which defeats the purpose f bulk (being able to buy in smaller amounts and without plastic).
