  • Mine is when it comes to supporting local businesses, they often serve it up in Styrofoam. Man, I wish that stuff was illegal, but it has a lot of good uses – to protect products.

  • Much like the others, I hate the plastic gloves waste, when it so unnecessary. The gloves are rarely used as intended. Having lots of things shipped to me, and despite my requests to amazon to only use cardboard and paper, they are not honoring my request for no plastics. Not being able to use my shopping and produce bags sucks too.

  • Bulk barn not allowing BYOC anymore, not allowing reusable bags in stores and take out food. I want to support my local restaurants during this time but then a fair amount of waste is produced and its hard to tell until after the fact which restaurants use more recyclable materials and which use plastic/styrofoam.

  • The meat counter hasn’t been open, so while we don’t eat a lot of meat, we’ve had to resort to styrofoam trays wrapped in plastic.

  • Getting curbside pickup or delivery for groceries and takeout. I want to order takeout to help restaurants, but the containers are a bummer.
