  • It’s been very stressful living in the COVID19 world. I am a senior, living with another senior who has a compromised lung situation. Not being able to do our own grocery shopping, and not having an environmentally “aware” proxy shopper, I have been extremely frustrated with having to resort back to the plastic produce bags and grocery bags that retailers have been forced to use.

  • I find that having plastic store bags overwhelming, as we removed the product, as not to bring it into the house. But, then stores were not able to take back the plastic bags for recycling. They don’t pick them up in our town recycling curbside program either.

  • My biggest challenge is what most other people have stated- over packaged goods in shops as a result of the fear of exposure to the current virus. What I am also concerned about is talk of plexiglass dividers everywhere – even reportedly on some beaches. I would like to scream – in a gentle kind way- – It isn’t GLASS you know- just because it has that syllable in it!!!!And disposable gloves are everywhere here in Edinburgh! it is really concerning!
