  • Like others have said-the grocery store bags!!!!! Though, I have begun shopping in store myself again and my grocery store has an app you can scan your groceries with so I wipe down the cart and use my own bags!

  • I miss being able to refill my soap and bulk containers at the store. It seems like all my bulk stuff ran out in the last few months, and I’ve had to buy new bottles.

  • Packaging and even more excess packaging at the grocery store during Covid! Even the bulk bin items now come prepackaged in plastic containers to reduce high traffic areas of people touching the same place.

  • Trying to grocery shop, or even go to the farmer’s market…everything comes in plastic. Now things that used to be in boxes are in plastic zip lock pouches. Ugh. I guess it’s encouragement to eat less meat, grow my own food, and get off processed food, no matter how natural or organic. If I use my own mesh or cloth bags, my produce dries out and wilts. So I re-use plastic bags as much as I can.

  • Finding the things that we need at the grocery store. One of my pet peeves if buying meat at the grocery store. It all comes wrapped in plastic wrap on a Styrofoam tray.
